The  Guild of Designers & Artists and Indian Plumbing Association  organized Panel discussion  on  “When Luxury Meets Sustainability”. An all-women panel comprising of Ar. Sonal Sancheti from Mumbai, Ar. Swanzal Kak Kapoor from Gurgaon, Ar. Rita Mody Joshi from Goa, and Ar. Tanushree Gulati and Amrita Guha from Delhi, it was a very engaging discussion on how luxury and sustainability can co-exist. It is all about sensitizing the design practitioner as well as the client about the glaring issues of sustainability especially water depletion which is going to be a major global issue very soon. Like the city of Cape Town in South Africa, very soon Bangalore will also be waterless. These alarming facts need to be addressed and alternative solutions to be explored by all segments of the society. The  session was  moderated  by  the  Lipika Sud – President  – The  Guild of  Designers& Artists.
